Pakistan Commemorates ASEAN's 55th Anniversary.

 On Monday, Pakistan congratulated the members of the Association of South East Asian Nations on the 55th anniversary of the founding of the group on this day in 1967.

 

The Foreign Office stated in a statement that ASEAN has developed into a vibrant and integrated economic community supporting common goals of regional peace and development.

 

The statement further said that Pakistan has a history of cooperation with ASEAN and that it values the group's development and noteworthy contributions to the advancement of regional cooperation.

 

According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan places a strong focus on advancing its multifaceted relations with ASEAN through improved connectivity and interpersonal contacts, in accordance with its Vision East Asia agenda.

 


The presence of Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the 29th ASEAN Regional Forum's Ministerial Meeting in Phnom Penh was mentioned in the statement as evidence of Pakistan's dedication to strengthening its relationship with ASEAN.

                 The term "municipal solid waste," also referred to as "junk" or "trash," refers to all types of waste products, including plastic bottles, used needles, out-of-date batteries, food scraps, newspapers, etc. Pakistan produces 49.6 million tonnes of municipal solid garbage annually, and this number has been rising by more than 2.4% annually, according to a study.   Environmental issues become significant when municipal solid trash is not managed properly. On vacant lots, the majority of municipal rubbish is either burned or dumped, which pollutes the land and releases dangerous chemicals into the atmosphere.
